Installation of refractory bricks and concrete for the entire line; a total of 3,500 tons of materials were used in the following equipment: Coolers, heating hoods, furnace and precalciner nozzles, tertiary air ducts, rotary kiln, upstream joints and flue boxes, V-chamber and mixing duct, precalciner, cyclones C5-C4-C3-C2-C1, gas ducts, and material ducts. The execution of the refractory project consisted of the following stages: Formal planning and preparation of tasks for each zone: safety procedures, quality control, refractory installation procedures, organization of personnel and equipment, preparation of installation drawings, packing lists, material preparation, site organization, daily and weekly safety reports, daily progress reports, and validation and acceptance of each zone.
